For users in the European Economic Area, the UK, or other GDPR-equivalent jurisdictions, we rely on the following legal bases:

Contract Performance

Processing necessary to provide the Service you purchased: account management, AI website generation, hosting, billing, support.

Legitimate Interests

Processing necessary for our legitimate business interests — platform security, fraud prevention, service improvement — where those interests are not overridden by your privacy rights.

Where we process data based on your consent (such as non-essential cookies or marketing emails), we obtain explicit opt-in. You may withdraw consent at any time.

07

AI Processing & Your Content

How Your Inputs Are Used

When you use our AI features, the prompts and context you provide are transmitted to our AI infrastructure provider (currently Anthropic's Claude API) to generate your requested output. These transmissions are encrypted and are processed solely to deliver the output back to you.

AI Model Training

We do NOT use your AI Website Builder inputs, generated content, or hosted website data to train third-party AI models. Our AI provider (Anthropic) has contractual commitments to us that customer API data is not used for training their foundation models.

Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of websites and content you create with our AI builder (see our Terms of Service Section 06). We host your content solely to deliver the Service.

Do Not Submit Sensitive Data to AI

You should never submit highly sensitive personal information — government ID numbers, health information, raw financial account details, authentication credentials — as AI prompts. Such data is unnecessary for website generation and introduces unnecessary privacy risk.
